You’ve graduated from our Derby 101 program. Now what, freshmeat? Instead of serving you up as a tasty treat for our hard-hitting vets, you become eligible to join our Smash Squad. As part of this group, you continue to hone your derby prowess while building camaraderie with skaters of a similar skill level. You work on your skating, learn game strategy, develop a sense of teamwork, and hit much harder!
During your time on Smash Squad, your skills, attendance, and attitude will be assessed. When you’re done – and you have what we’re looking for – you will be eligible to be rostered with a HCRG team. Then you can start scrimmaging with those vets. They can’t wait to hit you.
