The Hammer City Roller Girls are recruiting! If you’re derby curious, why wait? Come out to one of our upcoming meet and greets with roller derby skaters from the Hammer. The next step is to sign up for our beginners training course, Derby 101 which will cover 8 weeks of training in the basic foundations of roller derby. Members of the HCRG training committee will prepare skaters for the WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association) minimum skill requirements, a crucial step in getting into the game. This course is open to anyone wishing to join our league as a skater or referee, as well as newer skaters and refs from nearby leagues. It’s a great way to give derby a whirl and find out if the sport is right for you!
