Brawl by the Bay: Hammer City’s Free Annual Free Outdoor Bout

Wednesday, August 27th, 2014

One of Hammer City Roller Girls’ most anticipated events returns for the fifth year.

For the first and only time this season, the league’s skaters will divide into two squads and face off against each other in an epic, full-length, full-contact roller derby battle on the outdoor flat track.

This bout will pay tribute to Hamilton and all the wonderful things that make this city great – from the Hamilton Waterfront Trust’s amazing skate pad locale, to the team names, and to YOU, the fans! As our thank you for your continued support, admission to the game is FREE. We encourage you to bring non-perishable food items, as we will be collecting to benefit local families.

This will be your only chance to see Hammer City skaters play against each other this year. Watch cagey vets, breakout stars, and daring rookies all mix it up. Don’t miss out on this very special bout!
